Dollar continues to increase: Today’s bank rates

The Sri Lanka rupee continues to depreciate against the US Dollar as per commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (17).

According to the Peoples Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from yesterday’s rate of Rs. 327.20 to Rs. 332.06, while the selling rate has increased from Rs. 346.37 to Rs. 351.51.

At Commercial Bank, the buying rate has reduced from yesterday’s rate of Rs. 332.96 to Rs. 331.48 but the selling rate has increased from Rs. 351.50 to Rs. 355.00. 

Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from yesterday’s rate of Rs. 330 to Rs. 335 and the selling rate has increased from Rs. 345 to Rs. 350. (NewsWire)
